USCIS would keep family pack submitted at same time together. In your case it seems like your applications got separated. Taking an INFOPASS appointment may reveal this to IO and you may ask that they confirm that your son's application is together with the family pack.

Hi,
My wife came to US on H4 and changed to F1 status thru COS. She is doing Masters 2nd semester and went for F1 visa stamping this week in India. She got 221(g) pink slip asking explain her projects, plans afer study etc. Visa officier withheld her passport and I20.
BTW the way I am on H1B and provided all the financial support documents.
I searched the online didnt any F1 getting 221(g) pink.
1)If anyone else got this for F1 please share your experiences and any tips.
2)How long it takes after repsonding to thier queries
3)what are the chances getting visa after getting 221(g) pink
4) Do you suggest getting any professional in drafting the reponse to te queries.. if so do you know any one in Hyderabad, India

Submit what the IO requested. With F1, the usual problem is proving no intent for immigration.

You will be using XNA Game Studio (installs into Visual Studio), to develop games. All your time other than for graphics will be spent in Visual Studio 2010. Highly recommend you have a device. Testing in the emulator is not the greatest for games.
Note: All you need is the freely available tools (Express Editions). Having the student or paid versions does not really benefit those using the XNA Game Studio, or building applications for WP7. I'm sure that page says that, just didn't want you to get confused.
If you have done any other game programming you will find everything pretty easy, just takes a bit to get use to. It sounds like you are new to C#, but don't worry most tutorials are setup in a way this shouldn't be a problem.
The MSDN Create site has code samples and there are lengthy tutorials online that will help you get started with XNA.

Hi All,
Currently iam working for a X company and i do have 2 layers(A,B) to my end client Y. My company got agreement with company A and A got agreement with B. Now, my client (Y)wants me on full time.I have signed non-compete with my employer that i will not join his clients.But Y is no way a client to my employer. Will there be any issue if i join with Y?
Any replies is highly appreciated.

Had my appointment on Sept 8 at 10am, wife was also with me for her H4 stamp. Went for fingerprinting, then went to 20th floor for interview.
This was the interesting part! The Visa officer asked where I worked, then asked me where I was from. I said Lahore, he then started asking me about situation there with respect to the floods, and whether our families were affected etc. He then said, everything looks good and told us to come back on the 10th (2 days later) to collect passports. He did not check a single document (job letter, paystubs etc.). Just asked me about Lahore and sent us on our way.
Considering I am Pakistani, I thought this should give hope to other Pakistanis applying. Btw my first name is not so rare, but last name very rare. Also work for a Fortune 100 firm.

My PD is Sep 2004 EB3. If I decide to move to another employer who could also file an EB2 labor for me, how long should I wait before they could file a EB2 perm application for me?
Suppose I apply for a position by replying to a job posting (advertisement) on monster.com or dice.com and I get that job, can the company use the same ad for applying for my PERM labor?

Probably you got to make you aware of science of immigration. Tell the authorities what they ask for (not what you want to tell). These days merger and aquisitions are commonplace and USCIS may be aware of these situations.

My company merged with another one last year just after my I-140 was approved. I'm preparing to file I-485 (doing it myself) and I'm wondering what kind of documents/letters do I need to submit to USCIS to proof that my job wasn't affect by the merger and I'm still working in the same position.
I'd really like to send all required information to USCIS so that I don't have to reply to RFEs later on.
Any examples of letters or list of supporting documents will be appreciated.

DEPENDS on the cost of the bond/non compete agreement /penalty.if you make more money from new jobs which will eventually cover any penalties should they try to enforce a "suspect'agreement then go for the new job :).

You can file H1-B extension based on your approved i-140 you should receive another 3 yrs extension i did the same.
Did you file this H1-B extension after changing employer using AC21? Is it approved for 3 years?
